Re-reg 9th July 1852 No. 235 in London. Reg cancelled and then opened at Chester 17th August 1852.
September 1854. Change of owners in Register. Lord Chandos and Admiral Moorsum.
June 1859. Sold to London, Northern & Western Railway Co.
December 1861. Sold to E. Bates, Liverpool.
May 1862. Sold to J. Dorrington, Manchester.
1862. Sold as a blockade runner. It was recorded that she made four runs in year, but was captured off Bulls Bay on her third inwards run, on 24th October in that year.
28th January 1863. Sold by the Prize Court, and was registered at New York as the ‘General Banks’ but “sold foreign” almost immediately.
1863/4. Thereafter she changed hands several times and got back to the running trade as the ‘Fanny and Jenny’, registered at Nassau, N.P., in the same year. Under this name she made two runs in 1863, but was reported destroyed off New Inlet on 10th February, 1864 when inward bound. She was evidently salved for her Nassau registry was kept open and she was later shown in the ownership of Augustus John Adderley of that port, until as late as 1914.
